Major components of the service are the completion of the NCLB Consolidated Application, all associated budgets, required reporting documents and to serve as liaison to SED. This service provides assistance to districts in implementing a comprehensive educational program that enhances the regular classroom, student achievement and development of tools necessary for student assessment and data collection. Districts are assisted in implementing programs and plans in compliance with state and federal regularions, such as AIS and RTI. Services provided in 501.20 and 501.30 are included in this service. Updates from NYSED with regard to NCLB Consolidated Application, McKinney-Vento Homeless Education Act, accountability, assessments and regulatory issues are provided with this service. Additionally, a monthly online reproducible Title I - Parent Involvement Newsletter and other resources are provided (Aidable) Electronic data (standardized, state and local) is collected to develop a K-12 Needs Assessment database which is used to determine AIS needs. Provides AIS Eligibility reports with state scores (Grades 3-12), type of service, level of service, provider of service and funding. Included are additional reports to be used for monitoring student academic achievement and reporting for the AIS program. (Aidable) Assistance to school districts in long-range planning initiatives, the designing and /or implementation of RTI and professional development plans, as well as other initiatives to meet SED and NCLB mandates. Overview of scientifically-based research for content area instructional practices and guidance for selection of assessment tools for student progress monitoring is provided. Included is professional development training with selected assessments and the implementation of a progress monitoring system. (Aidable) Ongoing support for progress monitoring through bi-weekly reports updating student and grade-level assessment data for use in instructional team meetings. Upon request, the district can customize progress monitoring charts and graphs for district-level information and presentation purposes. (Aidable) On-site building and grade-level coaching, mentoring and facilitating of scientifically-based researched instructional practices is provided to prepare and guide teachers. Support and assistance on the use and analysis of progress monitoring assessments and the facilitation of curriculum mapping and standards alignment is also included.
