The St. Lawrence-Lewis BOCES Adult and Continuing Education has received special training funds and is able to provide tuition waivers for the following Adult Education classes for eligible applicants:

ACCES-VR (Vocational Rehabilitation) from the New Yok State Education Department assists individuals with disabilities to achieve and maintain employment and to support independent living.
Franklin County OneWorkSource
Established under the Workforce Investment Act, OneWorkSource Centers bring employment and training services to one location, making it easier for job seekers to find gainful employment and for employers to find trained employees.
St. Lawrence County Department of Social Services
The St. Lawrence County Department of Social Services provides temporary assistance to eligible individuals and families to help them with their basic needs until they can become self-sufficient.

The mission of the St. Lawrence County Workforce Development Board, as a partnership of private and public community resources, is to ensure the economic vitality of our county by building and maintaining a quality workforce development system that strengthens and provides economic, educational, and developmental opportunities for all citizens and employers.

Classes and programs
Whether you’re interested in launching a new career or taking classes to prepare for your General Educational Development Test (GED), the Adult Education and Workforce Development program at St. Lawrence-Lewis BOCES is here to meet your needs.
Students must be 18 or older to enroll in the GED course.
